1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Hush Canyon, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What this site is

Hush Canyon is an independent editorial project from Sunday Robbo. It publishes information about U.S. places behind lotteries, timed entry, and scarce permits. We summarize windows, backups, and — when an agency publishes them — historical success rates, with trust labels described on About Data. You can also build a personal apply plan on this site; that plan is a convenience tool, not a booking or application service.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Recreation.gov, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, state park systems, concessionaires, or any other land-management agency. Their names and marks remain theirs.

3. What this site is not

• We do not apply for permits or lotteries on your behalf
• We do not hold, sell, or transfer reservations
• We do not monitor cancellations or live inventory
• We do not guarantee you will win a lottery, get a permit, or find an open timed slot

4. Official sources control

Final rules, fees, quotas, and whether registration is open are always on Recreation.gov or the managing agency / concessionaire. If our summary differs from their live page, their page wins.

5. Editorial rankings

“Most sought” and similar lists are editorial opinions about demand and reputation. They are not official rankings and are not sorted solely by success rate.

6. Personal use and risk

Content is provided as-is for personal trip planning. Bookmarks and apply plans stay in your browser unless you share a link; shared links may expose your selected places and trip dates to anyone who opens them. You use this site at your own risk. You are responsible for verifying dates, fees, and eligibility before you apply or travel. If you cannot afford to be wrong about a window or a permit, confirm on the official page before you go.

7. Acceptable use

Use the site only for lawful purposes. Do not run scrapers, bots, or excessive requests that burden or disrupt Hush Canyon or the public agency pages it points to.

8. Intellectual property

Site copy, layout, and design are owned by Sunday Robbo unless a credit says otherwise. Agency names, Recreation.gov branding, and other third-party marks remain their owners’. Do not imply endorsement, and do not republish our guides wholesale without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hush Canyon and Sunday Robbo provide the site “as is” and are not liable for decisions you make based on this guide, including missed windows, failed applications, travel costs, or changes made by agencies after we last checked a source. Where a limit is allowed, total liability to you will not exceed the amount you have paid to this site. If you have not paid — and V1 does not charge — that limit is zero.

10. Disputes

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of your use of the site must be brought on an individual basis only. You waive any right to bring, join, or participate in a class, consolidated, or representative action against the operators of this site. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hush Canyon and Sunday Robbo from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so the rest remain in full force and effect.

13. Changes

We may update these terms and the site content at any time. The effective date near the top changes when we do. The posted version is the one in effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Tips

A payment through a tipping service, such as Ko-fi, is a voluntary contribution toward the editorial field guide. It is not a purchase of goods or services, not a subscription, and not payment for support, uptime, better lottery or reservation odds, bots, or agency affiliation.
