Summary

Hush Canyon is an editorial guide. We do not require an account to browse places, save bookmarks, or build an apply plan.

Bookmarks and local storage

When you tap Save, we store place identifiers in your browser (localStorage) so the list survives a refresh. We do not keep a server-side copy of your bookmarks.

If you use Copy link, the share URL can include those place identifiers in the query string so another browser can open the same list. Anyone with that link can see which places are in it — treat it like a public note.

Make a plan

When you build an apply plan, we store the selected places and trip dates in your browser (localStorage) so you can reopen it on this device (Open my plan). We do not keep a server-side copy of your plan.

Share my plan puts those place identifiers and dates in the page URL so someone with the link can open the same selection. Anyone with that link can see it — treat it like a public note. Restart from scratch clears the saved plan on this device.

Hosting and logs

If this site is hosted on a typical web host or CDN, that provider may collect standard request logs (for example IP address, user agent, and pages requested) to operate and secure the service. We do not sell personal data.

Third-party sites

Apply buttons send you to Recreation.gov or another Official agency / concessionaire page. Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookie practices. We do not control them.

Tips

An optional tip leaves this site for checkout on Ko-fi (Stripe). We do not receive your card number. The card statement shows Sunday Robbo. Tips support the editorial field guide — place pages, trust labels, and field notes. They do not buy better lottery odds, bots, monitoring, affiliation with any agency, or customer support.

If you leave a short note with a tip on Ko-fi, we may see it. That is not a support desk or a promise of a reply — it is a quieter way to reach us without publishing an email inbox.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits — which pages are viewed, the site that sent you, and general device, browser, and country. It sets no cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other sites. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

The site is aimed at adults planning trips and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows (for example if we add optional accounts later). The effective date near the top changes when we do. The date below also reflects the latest editorial revision.

Contact

We do not offer customer support, and we do not publish an email, phone number, chat, or contact form. Hush Canyon is a self-serve editorial guide. An optional note left with a Ko-fi tip may reach us; it is not a ticket queue and we do not promise a reply. If that changes, we will update this page.
